Two important legal updates from Public Toilet Info


As boring as they may be, we want to ensure everyone knows about two important legal updates from Public Toilet Info.

1. Updates to our policies

Firstly, we've recently updated the following policies:
In addition, our online shop no longer has its own separate privacy policy – everything you need to know about data processing on the online shop is now in our main privacy notice. The Cookie Policy for our onlne shop remains the same.

We ask that you re-read these policies to ensure you are up-to-date and happy with our practices and expectations from you.

2. Change of ownership

In legal terms, the ownership of Public Toilet Info has recently changed from that of a private individual, to that of Public Toilet Info, a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) registered in England and Wales at 9 Archery Rise, Neville's Cross, Durham, DH1 4LA.

This change was made as Public Toilet Info recently became a registered charity, but was previously unincorporated. Therefore, all assets, activities and personal information processing have now been passed on to the new charity.

At our heart we're still the same – the previous owner sits on our new board, and being a charity (if anything) should make us even more aligned with our mission. In the near future, we'll also be posting about what the benefits of us being a charity are, something we hope you'll stay tuned for.
